Implementing mass transformations in application assets
FaKtory is Karto’s complement for implementing mass transformations in IT assets.
FaKtory takes advantage of Karto‘s impact analyses to industrialize transformations of application components using Conv-FaKtory, of data using Data-FaKtory and to carry out non-regression tests with the help of Test-FaKtory.
FaKtory can handle large quantities of components, on the order of several million, with appropriate control and analysis tools.
FaKtory is perfectly suited to the modernization of large mainframe portfolios towards open architectures, or the implementation of cross-functional modifications to the information system.

Client Server language and framework converters
Our approach to Client Server language and framework transformation is based on a semi-automated approach to optimize target code quality.
A fully automatic migration would produce code that is too dependent on the source and not very maintainable.
We implement tools specifically adapted to the project, enabling source code analysis, source code navigation, migration and target code generation, manual finalization and testing within the same set of tools.

Data-FaKtory
FaKtory’s advanced data migration functions (see Recode Data-ETL) enable fully automated DBMS change, data migration, SQL conversion and regression testing (see Test-Faktory).

All data conversion operations are controlled via the FaKtory project portal interface.
Test-FaKtory
FaKtory features regression testing by comparing a reference execution on the source with a test execution on the target.
Test scenario capture scripts are tooled and run on the source, automatically launching the equivalent on the target.
The results are published in the FaKtory project portal interface.
